Today we are taking you for a stroll around Warehouse 30, a super cool community space on Charoen Krung. It is a gathering place for cool young people, with exhibitions all the time, stylish cafes and artsy things to buy, and it is very chic for photos. So, let's go this weekend!
Old warehouses with new charm
Warehouse 30 has really added to the charm of the Charoen Krung area. It is Charoen Krung's creative community complex, located on Soi Charoen Krung 30, where old warehouses have been transformed into a stylish hangout. You will find restaurants, cafes, all kinds of shops and even a cinema. It is also a co-working space where everyone can come to stroll, shop, eat, chill or join in activities, on weekdays and weekends alike. It is a great place to visit and not far from the Grand Postal Building in Bang Rak.
Seven warehouses, seven characters
From the outside, Warehouse 30 keeps its raw, cool warehouse look, with steel frames and corrugated metal in grey and orange tones, true to its name. Inside, the space is divided into seven main warehouses, each zone with its own character to suit different lifestyles. Every zone features hanging lamps, and large clear glass walls at the front separate each warehouse neatly. The first zone, warehouses 1 and 2, is used for workshops and co-working, and as a stage for talks or a meeting room. It can be adapted for many other kinds of activities too.
Exhibitions
On the day we visited, there was Cry Me A River, an art exhibition by Molly that invites you to let your sadness flow away. The exhibitions change regularly. If you don't know where to go this weekend, we recommend Warehouse 30.
