Today Meeting Point is taking you to Cafe' De Musketeer on Phutthamonthon Sai 3 Road, a really charming cafe. It is great for the whole family, sweet for a date, and perfect for a free day out with your friends.

Cafe' De Musketeer is a restaurant, fitness club, zoo and
aquarium all in one, in the Phutthamonthon area, so it is great value for a visit. It is decorated with swings and lots of animal statues to wander around (parents, your kids will love it). When you walk in, peacocks strut back and forth showing off, completely unbothered by humans and not afraid of people at all.

There are two main zones: drinks and bakery, and food.
Drinks and bakery zone
Lots to choose from, including shaved ice, burgers, samosas and fried snacks.
Drinks include tea, coffee and various sweet drinks.

Food zone
The table layout here is well done, nicely spaced so you are not bumping into anyone. There is a wide range of fusion dishes at fair prices. If you are watching your weight, there are more than 20 clean-eating dishes for health lovers. Other options include pizza, salmon larb, baked pork ribs and much more.
What we ordered today:
Pizza, Isan sausage, stir-fried seafood with holy basil, stir-fried vegetables, baked spinach with cheese and shrimp cakes. Very filling and delicious.

Mini Zoo zone
Let's look around. First stop is the macaw cage, with bright, adorable parrots calling out to visitors all the time. There are also kangaroos you can get really close to.
The zoo area is a wide pond full of animals: flamingos, ducks, geese, swans, turtles, kangaroos and fish. So many, and well worth the visit. There is also a giant rodent, but it is gentle and shy, so approach slowly. You can feed bananas to the animals, and there is no charge for the animal food.
Mini Aquarium zone
This zone has a large fish tank with three viewing windows, home to many species of giant freshwater fish swimming around, including arapaima and Mekong giant catfish. Photos and names of each species are posted on the tanks so you can learn as you look.

Sport Club zone
The full name is Musketeer Sport Club, so there is a sports area too. An artificial-turf football pitch separates the restaurant from the zoo, with small and large goals and several balls you can take out to play. Just remember to put them back.
