We bet noodles are a favorite for many of you – they're just made for Thai taste buds. If you love simple, slightly retro vibes and a canal-side veranda with a cool breeze where you don't even need air-con, this place is the answer.
It's another lovely waterside noodle shop – cool, relaxed and set in a wooden Thai-style house. We felt so at ease here. The food is tasty, prices are gentle and the menu is huge: rice dishes, noodles and snacks. The boat noodles (kuay teow nam tok) are especially good – you have to try them. The garden setting is very relaxing, it's right on the canal, and it's fun for taking photos too. Prices are wallet-friendly.

Some days there are specials too, such as khao khluk kapi (shrimp-paste fried rice), miang kung (shrimp leaf wraps), miang pla thu (mackerel leaf wraps), rice with chu chi mackerel curry, chu chi shrimp spaghetti, tom yum fried rice and stir-fried macaroni – all of them look delicious.
What we ate today
- Boat noodles – a rich broth so tasty you don't need to add any seasoning. Regular 25 baht / large 30 baht – so cheap!
- Som tam (papaya salad) – nicely balanced, not too spicy, zingy and savory.
- Khanom jeen with green curry – rich coconut curry over fresh rice noodles. Pure bliss.
- Fried wontons – crispy and freshly fried. Great with noodles, great with som tam, and addictive on their own.
- Another thing we love here is the fragrant pandan drink – and best of all, it's free!

Sometimes a sweet grandma paddles by in her boat selling fried bananas and fried sweet potatoes. Coming here means a great atmosphere, delicious food and helping the community at the same time – amazing. If you're in Nonthaburi, you really should come here.
The shop also sells local products, snacks and garden vegetables from local growers. Parking is quite limited because it's a genuine residential community. Try to arrive before noon – if you come late, some dishes may be sold out.
