If you get the chance to eat at Mango Vegetarian & Vegan, we are sure you will love it. The plates are beautifully presented and big enough for 1–2 people each. You do not see many Thai diners here; most customers are from overseas. Personally, we found it really delicious. It is impressive how good meat-free dishes can be. You will not be disappointed.

If you have food allergies or cannot eat certain things, such as eggs, gluten or cow's milk, you can request changes. If you have any dietary restrictions, just tell the staff. Here are the dishes Meeting Point recommends.

Happy tofu
This dish really wowed us. The tofu is skewered and grilled, topped with satay sauce and served with cucumber relish; essentially tofu satay. The grilled tofu tastes a bit like fish cake, and with the satay sauce it is delicious. It comes with grilled pineapple, bread and fresh fruit in a big basket, so you finish feeling full of vegetables, fruit and grains. Very impressive. It can feed 2–3 people, but we managed it on our own easily. We felt healthier right away.

Pineapple fried rice
A huge plate, served in a halved pineapple with the flesh scooped out, still juicy with pineapple. The grains and fruit scattered on top are a great touch, and together everything is well balanced, not too rich or oily.

Desserts and drinks
The smoothies are just as fresh. Another thing we loved was the soft cookies: dense, flourless and 100% clean. You can enjoy them without guilt, and they are good for you too. We really recommend this place.

If you are around Khao San and Banglamphu and do not know what to eat, try Mango Vegetarian & Vegan. Eat well and stay healthy; you will not be disappointed. Note that it closes every Wednesday. Getting there is easy, with plenty of buses passing by, and after your meal you can carry on hanging out in the area.
