KOFUKU, pronounced ko-fu-ku, has a new concept at its Central Pinklao branch: KOFUKU Paradise. The interior is decorated in Japanese style to match the food's origins, with cute pink sakura trees and dim orange lanterns that set a lovely mood. There are not many tables, and the menu offers lots of choice, including sushi, sashimi and plenty of donburi bowls.

Today Meeting Point tried the restaurant's famous signature dishes. Let's take a look.

Salmon Galaxy rice bowl, KOFUKU's signature

The staff told us we absolutely had to try the Salmon Galaxy bowl, the restaurant's signature. Japanese rice sits underneath and is slightly salty on its own, but once you mix it with the egg and salmon, it all comes together perfectly.

Beef rice bowl

We recommend this one too. The beef rice bowl is excellent: fragrant rice with lots of garlic butter and pepper, generous toppings and very filling.

Drinks

We had the refillable drinks, with three choices:

  1. Lemon tea: strong and very refreshing. We loved it.
  2. Melon green tea: deep green with a melon aroma and a slight tang. Refreshing.
  3. Iced green tea: unsweetened, and we really liked it.
