We were blown away by the place we're taking you to today: Efe Turkish Old Town, a stylish Turkish cafe in Phuket Town. Walking in feels like stepping into another world. The atmosphere and the decor are so authentic you'd think you were in Turkey (Turkiye).

The restaurant also brings to mind Mediterranean food, Turkish style. We highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. The Turkish chef makes everything, both sweet and savory, and it's all excellent. The lamb and beef have no gamey smell and are fragrant with spices. We were impressed. Each dish is served in big portions, so you'll leave stuffed. The ice cream is just as good as in Turkey, with 4 flavors to choose from: chocolate, pistachio, lemon (with a hint of lemon zest, so fresh and fragrant) and vanilla. All of them are just sweet enough. And the best of the best, something you can't miss, is Turkey's national dessert, baklava, packed with pistachios. The restaurant has lots of different corners, each with its own mood. We loved the garden at the back, where you can admire the flowers and sip tea. We'd call it the most delicious Turkish restaurant in Phuket, and since it's in the old town, you can go for a stroll after eating. We'll definitely be back when we get the chance.

Every dish on the menu is authentic, made with high-end imported Mediterranean ingredients, while also supporting local products. The presentation of each dish is simple but pleasing, and it comes on big plates with generous portions that are great for sharing, whether with family, friends or a partner. We guarantee eating here is a truly delightful dining experience and not to be missed.

Overall, the menu at EFE Old Town is divided into Starters, Soups, Salads, Cold Mezes, Platters, Pastas, Wraps, Burgers, Turkish Pide, Seafood, Main Courses, Kebabs and Desserts. If you come as a group or with kids, there's a special kids' menu too. The drinks menu at Efe Turkish Old Town includes soft drinks, coffee and tea, plus signature tea served in glasses from a pot for 4 people, or in a samovar for 8. The presentation is wow. If you love Turkish style, don't miss it.
