What Meeting Point tried at 168 Gyoza Yaowarat
Dragon's beard noodles stir-fried with shrimp fat
Really delicious. Well stir-fried with that smoky wok aroma, and the shrimp are big. Highly recommended. The oil here smells different from anywhere else. Of all the places we've tried, this one stir-fries it best.

Mala gyoza
Also tasty. The dumplings are good, but the mala sauce could be punchier. A bit spicier and it would be perfect. This dish takes quite a while, but it's worth it.

Seaweed salad
Another winner. It's on the sour side, with lots of seaweed, and very refreshing. Everyone who tries it loves it.
Xiaolongbao
Really delicious. They're served piping hot, so if you've never had them, be careful: the soup inside is spot on. The chili oil is fragrant and tasty but very spicy, so taste it before adding.

We were really impressed. The shop is clean and comfortable, the service is good and, most importantly, the food is delicious. The noodles are great, fragrant with sesame oil, and finishing with dessert was the best part. We'll definitely order takeaway. It's very easy to find, right on the street.

The shop is near MRT Wat Mangkon station; just walk up and you're at the door. After eating, walk up Plaeng Nam Road and you'll reach the heart of Yaowarat for more shopping. Evenings are the liveliest time. Plaeng Nam Road also has lots of great daytime spots, like soy milk and chicken rice shops, but for good food from morning to night, 168 Gyoza Yaowarat is our pick. We guarantee you'll be impressed.
